Are you eager for adventure and thrills? This outing is for you! Culminating at 820 meters above sea level, it is the second highest peak on the island after the peak of the Petite RiviĂšre Noire.
Its name comes from Pieter Both, who was Governor General of the Netherlands Indies.
There is a rocky ball on top resembling a human head.
Among the slaves a legend said that the English would leave the island the day the rock at the top of the mountain fell.
The rock never fell, but the English left for a while.
